A shipment of arms was found in New Zealand by authorities. The arms destination and origin were unknown but the cargo appears to have originated in China. Amnesty International has reported that Chinas arms exports are stoking conflict and repression with sales to numerous governments who are under embargo by many Western countries. AI estimates Chinas export of arms to be in excess of US one billion dollars a year.
Recently some have blamed the US open market for Mexican drug lords having caches of weapons. These caches have included weapons that are not attainable in the US market such as hand grenades and rocket launchers.
The question of the day; is it possible that Mexican drug lords are obtaining the weapons from China and not the US?
